The aviation world is buzzing with the news that start-up airline, flypop, is to launch a new passenger service to provide low-cost flights between the UK and India.
Defying the devastating impact that the pandemic has wreaked on the aviation industry, flypop has wasted no time in adapting to the new aviation landscape.
TGIS Aviation provided China and UK-based technical and asset management services for their first aircraft, an Airbus A330-300 which landed in Malta last Saturday having flown from Guangzhou via Seoul. Technical Director, Ian Smith, commented that “TGIS Aviation is proud to have advised flypop throughout the selection and delivery process of this aircraft. At times Covid restrictions in China made the process quite challenging but working in close cooperation with the lessor and the flypop management team we overcame them with a successful outcome”.
Nino Judge, CEO at flypop added “TGIS has been an invaluable partner under the most difficult delivery circumstances.”
TGIS Aviation is delighted to continue to support flypop‘s fleet expansion and is currently advising on their second aircraft.
